Klara
Klara is a flirty summer top with ruffled sleeves and v-neck shaping in the front and back.
The pattern includes instructions for a seamless version and a seamed version.
The seamless version is worked in the round from the bottom up, then front and back are separated at the armholes. The seamed version is worked in pieces, from the bottom up. The waist shaping is moved to the center of back and front for a flattering fit. The shoulder stitches are placed on hold and are joined using three-needle bind off. The short sleeves are worked by picking up stitches around the armhole and the sleeve caps as well as the shoulders are shaped using German short rows. This technique is explained in written as well as in a photo tutorial.
If you decide to work the seamless version you don’t have to sew any seams at all. If you decide to work the seamed version you only have to sew the side seams.
The pattern has a total of 15 pages. One front page, 2 pages with introductory notes and abbreviations, 8 pages with written instructions, 1 pages with schematic and measurements and 3 pages with a photo tutorial for German short rows.
