This boucle hat and cowl pattern is great for those cold winter nights, as it’s super warm and cozy.

This pattern is made as an adult size medium, but can be adjusted for different sizes by casting on more/less stitches (~3 sts less for size small, 3sts more for size large and so on).

I use US 8/5mm needles for the ribbing on the hat, and US 10/6mm for the body of the hat and for the cowl.

You will need one skein of Lanalpaca for each garment (1 for hat, 1 for the cowl), but any bulky weight boucle yarn will do. The color pictured here is Garnet.

Since this is a bulky weight yarn, these garments work up super fast. With minimal increases/decreases, this pattern is perfect for beginners.
