These knee high socks are specially made for those with big calves.
The traditional Snowflake and Lice patterns of Norway will keep you interested and the pin-stripe pattern for heel, gusset and sole will also add thickness and strength to the entire sock.
These socks are perfect for boots or for around the house and are super warm.

Materials
• Heirloom Natural Dales Wool 8 ply, 100% Pure Wool, 105 m per 50g ball. 3 skeins Dark Brown (lot 388) 2 skein Cream (lot 396).
• Size 3mm 4DPN or two circular needles for cuff.
• Size 3.50mm 4DPN or two circular needles for body.
• Markers

Gauge
24 sts and 28 rounds = 10cm (4 inch)
Adjust needle size as necessary to match correct gauge.
