Knights' Hats
Two patterns - two styles - great for big and little kids alike!!!
Pattern 1 - Knights’ Hat with Visor
The hat is worked from the crown, in one piece with no seaming. It has a gently shaped ear flaps, optional ties, a top spike and a choice of two visor styles.
The recommended yarns are double knit (8-ply), Aran or WW. You will need up to 300m of silver Colour A and a small amount of Colour B for detailing if doing striped visor.
If colour work isn’t something you are confident with, a second single coloured, ribbed version of the visor is provided.
In the example, Colour A is grey and Colour B is black. These may be changed as desired.
Tools: Hook appropriate size for yarn chosen, a needle for neatening ends and 4 stitch markers.
Pattern 2 - Knights’ Hat with Chain Mail
