INTRO
This big shawl in combination of knitting and crocheting techniques has the central knitted part as a transparent net, while around it is a rich crocheted border, completed in treble crochet stitches. Its wavy texture also contributes to the softness of this classic, elegant piece of accessory.
GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT THE PATTERN
The pattern is written in US terminology. The shawl is completed in 3 stages:
- The central triangle is knitted in 1/1 rib stitch = K1, P1
- In the last row some stitches are dropped from the needle to be unraveled and make the piece longer and wider
- Ruffle border is crocheted around the shawl using treble crochet
