Knit Bonding Square

Bonding squares are used by Mom’s whose babies are in a neonatal unit.​

Each Mom is given 2 squares, one is kept with the baby and one is kept on the Mom’s body, every 12 hours they aer swapped.​

The help Mom and baby to bond by smell in cases where they can’t physically touch.​

This pattern uses Lion Brands Lions Pride Woolspun but any #5 bulky yarn will do.

You will also need a 6mm set of needles, straights or dpn’s will also work.

While this is a beginner friendly pattern to make you will need to know the basics of Knitting.
