This is a pattern I made as a chemo cap for my friend Em, who blogs at http://www.sewingbymoonlight.com

Since I used it as a chemo cap, I wanted soft and non-irritating yarn. Lorna’s Lace, Honor, is a DK weight with 70% alpaca and 30% silk. It is so soft! I used less than 1/2 the skein (about 130 yards).

Stitches used are Uknit, Purl, Slip, and a technique that brings the slipped stitch back onto a peg, then knitting both loops over the working yarn.

I used the 72 peg 3/8” CinDWood Small Adult Hat loom.

The pattern could also be worked using the 80 peg 3/8” CinDWood Adult Hat loom (or KB Adjustable Hat Loom with 80 pegs set in every hole) without any modifications to pattern.
