If you’re like me, and have small children, you’ve now seen Encanto approximately 1 million times….

So, I made a capybara.

This pattern is knit in separate pieces (head, body, arms, legs, ears) and sewn together. All pieces are knit in the round on DPNs or circular needs (for my magic-loopers).

Using sport weight yarn on US size 3 needles, the final capybara will measure around 10 inches. However, bigger yarn/needles=bigger capybara!
