Starting with a magic circle, the crown is worked in the round following a simple repeat. The pattern for the crown ad brim are charted, and measurements are indicated for the final pieces. The pattern has no gauge, but notes that it should take 90g of yarn.

The brim is stiffened with “Tekno Rote” which is a plastic filament that is inserted through the edge of the brim. This appears to be only available in Japan.

The crown and brim are worked separately and then seamed together.

The pattern includes instructions for a bow and bead clip/accessory to attach.

The pattern is simple and uses only chain, (US) single crochet, sc2tog, dc, dc2tog, and seaming.

This pattern is confusingly titled in English “Knit Casquette” although it is crochet and not a cycling cap but a newsboy-style cap.

Translated from original Japanese description:
A newsboy cap with a wide brim like a hat. Designed with a soft line in mind while leaving a mannish image. Although it is a simple crochet fabric, the corsage that combines lace and pearl beads enhances the appearance of volume.
