If you were to make yourself very very small and visit a cell, you would find it a busy place. Cells are constantly taking themselves apart and putting themselves back together, moving stuff in and out, and dividing. Knitting this little guy is kind of a biology lesson - but I assure you it won’t be boring. If you don’t know what the heck a mitochondrion or centriole is don’t worry because I have included a little glossary. If you want to learn more about cells than I suggest reading The Way Life Works by Mahlon Hoagland and Bert Dodson or checking out this web site.
This project is a good way to use up stash yarn.
