I am pleased to offer up this pattern for a knit dragon as an alternative to the crocheted one that I also have available. This is my first knitting pattern, so please do let me know if anything should be changed, but I have tested it out extensively and believe it to be easily understandable. It uses standard US abbreviations. The pattern is 12 pages long, and contains many pictures to guide you along your way.

This is an intermediate to advanced pattern. You will need to be able to work in the round on dpns and it would help to be familiar with short rows, and there are many small parts which must be sewn together. It is rather time consuming.

Gauge is unimportant for this pattern, and the size of the finished dragons can easily be changed by using different sizes of yarn or needles.
