Dragon Mitts: keep yourself entertained and your hands toasty warm!

This is a knitting pattern suitable for intermediate knitters, and involves the following techniques:

• Working in the round
• The following stitches: k, p, M 1, M 1 purlwise, lifted increases, yo, k 2 tog, slip 1
• Pinhole cast on (instructions for this are included with the pattern)
• Crochet cast on (instructions for this are included with the pattern)

Finished mitt is about 8 inches long and about 4.5 inches wide. Fits a wrist about 7 inches around

Suggested Materials:

• Yarn:

Green: Knit Picks Wool of the Andes: Peapod; 2 skeins

Blue: Knit Picks Wool of the Andes: Marina; 1 skein

White: Knit Picks Wool of the Andes: White; 1 skein

(Or worsted weight yarns of your choice. Under 200 yards needed for green,
under 100 yards needed for White and Blue)

• One set of US Size 6/4 mm double pointed needles

• Tapestry needle (for weaving in yarn ends)

• Scissors

• Needle and Thread

• 4 Buttons, black, 3/8” diameter (for eyes)
