Another sexy knit minidress from the collection … The star is born, this time in A line and lower 2 ruffles made in extra wide light ribbon yarn.
The dress is worked in two pieces – at first the bodice from the bottom to the top and then the lower ruffles in wide ribbon yarn, all in rounds without seams.
This dress has very simple design, which is based on wonderful cotton yarn with small sequins and the only contrast are the lower ruffles made in extra wide and light ribbon yarn, which gives the dress the glamour touch.**
For the bodice you can use other yarn, cotton/silk blend, silk, silk/linen blend, cotton/rayon blend The lower ruffles are based on the light wide ribbon yarn - I am pretty sure that such kind of ribbon yarn you can find also in USA.
You can also substitute it with ruffle knitted in thin mohair/silk blend, if you will double (triple) the number of stitches - it will make the same effect.
If you want, you can make it longer – just work more rows at the beginning before decreasing.
