As you may have guessed by now, I LOVE creating “Knit-Look” designs. Yes, I love crochet, BUT I also love a good challenge…and I love to be unique. ;)

The “Knit-Look” Cabled or Not Beanie is a hat that will appeal to both men and women. It is full of texture between the rows (although it may be tough to see with my dark green hat). The cable isn’t your standard twisted or braided cable, it was designed to have a more unisex appeal.

As the name suggests, this pattern includes instructions for BOTH a cabled accent beanie or a plain beanie…you’re getting 2 designs in 1!!!

Yarn: I used a light worsted weight yarn. The one in the photos is Lion Brand Heartland. Others used in testing were: Red Heart Soft, Caron Simply Soft and Lion Brand Wool Ease Worsted.

Also included in the pattern is a video tutorial to help with a stitch pattern and several photo tutorials to help along the way.
