A simple linen stitch shawl designed to be worn either doubled up or as a long loop.

The linen stitch pattern is easy to work and a very simple change makes the second half of the shawl the opposite of the first.

The cowl is 16 cm / 4 inches deep and 135 cm / 54 inches in diameter. This can easily be changed by casting on a different number of stitches and working fewer or more rounds.

You will need two skeins of The Knitting Goddess DK Bluefaced Leicester wool, one in each of two shades.

The cowl shown was knitted in purple and teal.
