Pattern description from Stitch ‘N Bitch Nation: “This dice pattern came about as a joke for a friend. I had recently gotten back into knitting and kept saying that I would knit her seat covers for her new car. That never happened, but one day I thought, ‘What about fuzzy dice?’ And they came about by themselves. As for why the steering wheel cover, I live in Arizona, where it can get to 125 degrees in the summer, and you need something to protect your hands from getting scalded on the steering wheel. A matching steering wheel cover just seemed like a perfect fit for the fuzzy dice.”
