Suggested Materials:
- Yarn:
Blue: Knit Picks Wool of the Andes: Marina; 2 skein
Black: Knit Picks Wool of the Andes: Coal; 1 skein
White: Knit Picks Wool of the Andes: White; 1 skein
(Or worsted weight yarns of your choice. Under 200 yards needed in Blue, under 50 yards needed for all other colors. I strongly suggest using a feltable wool (or other animal fiber) yarn, as non-felting yarns will produce a very differently shaped raygun. If you must use a non-felting yarn, I suggest using a smaller needle size to produce a denser fabric-- something around a US size 5)
-
One set of US Size 8 double pointed needles
-
Tapestry needle (for weaving in yarn ends)
-
Scissors
-
Needle and Thread
-
Stuffing (I use polyfill)
-
Light and Dark Blue felt
-
White embroidery floss
