With this pattern, you can knit up a bright garden of little roses in the dead of winter. Using little bits of leftover yarn, you can grow your own mini garden, regardless of the color of your thumb. ;)

The PDF includes a full picture tutorial that will guide you through the process step-by-step.

These cuties make the perfect gift topper if you just pop on a pin-back. I did this last Christmas and it was a hit; all the ladies in my family loved the little reminder of the springtime to come. Think about knitting up a bunch and filling a shadow box, gluing them on a canvas, or accenting a headband or bag.

Feel free to use any yarn and any needle for this pattern. You can make super tiny buds with lace weight and size 00s or super huge flowers with bulky weight and size 12s. I personally used size 3 needles with various bits of fingering weight yarn.
