Based on ‘knitstitches’ photo of her knit experiment, from Instagram. In 2019, she posted this on her IM account with no pattern. Many folks, including myself, implored her for a pattern, but she never posted one.
I loved the concept, so I decided to design my own version of this split brim hat. I like my choice of cables; I hope you do, too!

This hat is easily resizable, since it’s first knit sideways. Just wrap the strip around your head to judge when to 3-needle join/bind off.

Oh, this hat can be a pony tail hat or be closed, with a pompom!
