Approximate leg circumference:
12 to 17 cm (5 to 7 inches) above the ankle.
Size 1: 21 to 22 cm
Size 2: 23 to 24 cm
Size 3: 25 to 26 cm
Size 4: 27 to 28 cm
Size 5: 29 to 30 cm

Yarn:  Rauma 2 ply Gammelserie garn - You will need 2 - 50 gram balls of Colour A (foreground colour) and 2 - 50 gram balls for Colour B (background colour) for all sizes. This is a total of 200 grams and 640 meters of yarn. You will want to choose two colours with high contrast.                                             

The socks were designed to use only 100% pure Norwegian wool or pure, local wool of a similar gauge.

Needles:  Size range - 2.0 mm to 3.0 mm, depending on the size of the sock and the size of the needle you need to obtain gauge. 

Gauge: Rauma Gammelserie garn has a gauge of 28 sts = 10 cm, using 2.5 mm needles.

This pattern has been professionally tech editied and knit for clarity. It is in written form, row by row and is fully charted.
