Delightful knitting pattern for 18” Girl Dolls school uniform.

Send your little treasure to school in a sweet little polo shirt with pleated skirt and double breasted blazer with gilt buttons.

Skirt and blazer knitted in double knitting wool, polo shirt knitted in 4ply wool.

18” will fit Gotz, Design-a-Friend and American Girl.

Knitted on size 4.00 mm, 3.5 mm and 3.25 mm needles.

The blazer is knitted in one piece from the bottom up, (no messy front and back to sew together!), sleeves knitted separately. It’s easy to knit in moss stitch. Skirt knitted in one piece and joined with a back seam, polo shirt has the sleeves knitted as part of the body.

Great to use up wool from your stash! The blazer takes 50 grams double knitting wool, the skirt takes approx 25 grams double knitting wool, and the polo shirt takes 25 grams of 4 ply wool.

What little girl could want more for her doll?

My Grand daughter loves her 18”Girl Doll but she finds the fabric clothes cost too much to buy from her pocket money, (and difficult for little fingers to put on and take off!), so she asked her ‘Knitting Nanny Mo’ to design and knit some for her. When it came to going back to school she was most upset that her dolls had no school uniform so she asked me to make one just like hers. I hope you enjoy knitting this outfit as much as I did!
