Simple knitted pattern for newborn sized thumb-less mittens, K2,P2 ribbing combined with a length of ribbon or i-cord for ties, means these little mittens are less likely to fall off babies. Alternatively knit in elastic can be added to the ribbing if one wishes for there to be no tie.

This pattern has NOT been tested so please, if you find a mistake let me know and I can correct it.

Uses very little yarn and therefore great for stash busting

gauge is not important in this pattern as babies come in all shapes and sizes.
