The bunting knitting pattern is knitted on 4.5mm (US 7) straight knitting needles with aran weight (worsted) yarn producing a length of bunting approx 2.7m

This pattern is ideal using up odd balls of yarns and makes an ideal pattern for new knitters or children as its knitted in garter stitch with basic increasing and each knitted triangle in connected with a crocheted chain.

Recommended types of yarn are wool/silk mixes something with a bit of weight and a nice feel!
