This bunting is very easy to make, as the basic piece is a rectangle knitted in garter stitch.

Each piece only takes approximately 5 grams of yarn, brilliant for all those little bits left over at the end of a project.

You can make it in Christmas colours, baby colours, your favourite colours …

Let your imagination run wild!

The idea for this pattern came from volunteering with the Busy Bees at Bishop Creighton House in Fulham, London.
These amazing ladies have been knitting since WW2 when the group started as part of the make, do and mend movement.
They knit with donated yarn and any money they raise from what they make supports the Center, which does a fantastic job in the local community.

If you’ve been inspired by their story or just love the pattern, feel free to donate some yarn for the ladies or some funds to support the Center, it will make a huge difference to them.
