These stockings are heavy enough to be worn alone or under a skirt or dress in the cold of winter. Any worsted weight will work and these knit up so quickly you can make a few pair for jogging, walking, dancing, working, or just keeping warm.
Larger sizes can be made by increasing needle size to 5.5mm and 6.5 mm.
