Simple Checkerboard Cowl

A wonderfully warm and easy to make cowl. Great for intermediate and beginner knitters.
This is a relaxing pattern to knit, easy to memorise,
wonderful for beginners, can be worn in multiple ways and is
ideal for gifts! And…it’s reversible!
Made from your favourite 12 ply wool, or scraps of left over yarn if you want a more varied look.
Enjoy
You will need:
Wool: I used 2 x 50g balls of Cleckheaton ‘Artisan’ in ‘haze’
Circular knitting needles – 4.5mm / 7UK
A stitch marker
A wool needle for stitching in ends
Scissors
You will need to know:
Casting on, off, knit and Purl stitches.
