Knitted Christmas
Let your Christmas be Knitted Christmas!
In this pattern, you will find 10 patterns for Christmas ornaments or balls or call it whatever you like. They all are two-coloured using fair isle knitting. It can be a good start with this technique! Use wool or cotton wool for stuffing.
Yarn
Any light fingering, fingering or even sport weight yarn. It is an ideal project for leftovers, but you can also buy a brand new yarn so your balls fit well together.
However, I used Jamieson&Smith 2 Ply Jumper Weight. For each ball, you need two colours.
Gauge & Needles
26 sts × 34 rows in stockinette without blocking
However, the gauge is not essential. You don’t have to knit a swatch, if you don’t want to. Just use the needles you would normally use with the yarn.
For example, I used 3 mm needles.
I recommend you to use DPNs, as the chart shows the stitches per one needle of four.
