A knitted clutch bag with a simple cable pattern. Ideal for the beginner or intermediate that feels ready to move on to trying cable.

Adding a lining will add shape and strength to the bag. Equally the bag could be made up with a stiffer yarn than the DK cotton such as a cotton aran yarn but made up using the same needles. Instructions for the lining are not included in this pattern.

The pattern used one 50g ball of Paintbox yarn in cotton DK in stormy grey.
