Knitted Goddess
Please note: There is an error in the pattern on Rnd. 36. It SHOULD read:
Rnd 36: (1st needle), k1, k2tog, k to end of needle, (2nd needle) k until 3 sts remain on needle, k2tog, k1, (3rd needle) k4, k2tog, k5, k2tog, k4--31 sts.
Knit in the round on 4 dpns.
Any worsted weight yarn will work for this project, although wool is best because of the combination of strength and flexibility. You want something fairly sturdy, but also springy.
Gauge is not important for this project; it is only important to have a nice tight knit, because you are stuffing the Goddess and don’t want stuffing to show or leak out. Go down a needle size or two from what you would normally use with worsted weight yarn.
I created this pattern a few years ago and have knitted several.
