A quick and easy knit hat for the holidays. I felt like the I-cords were more true to form on the shape of his head/hair/ears from the original cartoon.

Use whatever medium yarn you wish, as long as the color says Grinch to you. I used less than 1 skein each:
Color 1 (C1): Red Heart Soft in guacamole
Color 2 (C2): Loops & Threads Charisma Black
Color 3 (C3): Loops & Threads Charisma Yellow
Color 4 (C4): Loops & Threads Charisma Red

I am new to embroidery, but had some black floss around. It is too thin to do in a single layer, so I doubled it like I was sewing, and embroidered in a backstitch that I learned from a friend on the spot.

You need 5 size 7 or 8 double-pointed needles, a stitch marker, an embroidery needle, and a pair of scissors.
