Knitted hearts are very versatile – they can be appliquéd onto clothes, blankets and accessories, used for coasters or bunting, sewn/glued onto greetings cards, or made into toys. King Cole Cottonsoft DK is an easy yarn to work with and produces a smooth texture.

Each heart requires around 5g of yarn (please note this will vary depending on the individual knitter’s tension).

Blocking is strongly recommended to create a softer, more rounded heart shape.
