Knitted Jumper
Every once in a while, the results of a pattern just leave you completely in awe of the created piece, and that’s how I feel about this cute little jumper. I love it so much that I want to make it in all the colors of the rainbow, and maybe in color combinations, too.
I believe a confident beginner knitter will be able to work this pattern. You will need basic knitting skills, and some easy sewing is also required.
A tutorial in pictures and text on how to cast on extra stitches to extend a row after it has already been worked several times is included.
The item(s) made with this pattern were meant to fit an 18-inch American Girl doll, as shown in the pictures. However, they will also fit similar dolls, such as Our Generation, My Life As, and others. I added a sizing chart to the pictures, to help you compare your dolls to the American Girl dolls.
It is recommended that you read entirely through the pattern before starting with it. If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to contact me.
For this pattern I used:
~ Mainstays 100% Acrylic yarn, 4-medium in the color Pink
You can use any other 4-medium worsted weight yarn you choose.
~ Knitting needles size: US 8 - 5.00 mm
~ Size 5.5 mm crochet hook, which is only needed for the pockets. You could knit those as well if you prefer
- I want to keep my patterns free for everyone to use, but in return I would like to ask you not to sell them or claim them as your own. You are free to sell the completed projects you make with my patterns, however.
Have fun, and happy knitting!
