When baby gets anywhere from about a year to four or five years of age, he needs woolen leggings to protect his limbs in the cold weather. In our illustration is shown a very pretty knitted style, that is not at all difficult to make.

This pattern calls for:
20 ounces of white single Germantown wool
2 knitting needles
2 yards of white ribbon
8 buttons
a bone crochet needle.
