Any youngster will be proud to wear a pair of these cute knitted mittens with a kitten design on the back. Directions are given for size 2 (4 and 6 are in parentheses).

One 2-ounce skein of 4-ply sport yarn in main color; a small amount of white, a few yards of black and red to make the kitten, will be sufficient to make one pair of mittens.

Four green, four black, two red sequins, half yard of narrow ribbon in red and 2 small bells complete the findings for making this pair of mittens.

Knitting needles size 3 are used for small size, size 5 for the larger sizes.
