Knitted pet bunny rabbits
Small children will love to cradle these knitted pet bunny rabbits in their hands, and pretend to feed them with a little knitted carrot (for which a pattern is also provided!). The pattern is for two sizes of rabbit - adult and baby, and you can also make a fuzzy little snoozing bunny.
The pattern contains instructions on how it can be knitted in a single plain colour such as brown or grey for a wild rabbit, or in two tones of gray-and-white or black-and-white for a typical pet rabbit. There are instructions for variations such as longer ears pointing downwards for a lop-eared bunny, and using textured mohair-style yarn for a long-haired rabbit.
A donation from sales of rabbit knitting patterns is made to the Woodland Trust (www.woodlandtrust.org.uk), a conservation and education charity, which plants trees, protects woods and inspires people to enjoy the nature on their doorstep.
