Knitted Santa containing a Chocolate Orange in its body!! This pattern is one I have developed gradually over a couple of years, when trying to devise something to sell for charities at Christmas time and also to give as a novelty present to friends as a stocking filler. Its not difficult but takes a bit of time to assemble. It always raises a laugh, and they fly out of the door when being sold to raise funds. I put a chocolate orange in the body, as the surprise gift, but you could just stuff the body and sew up the bottom if you prefer. I have done Santas wearing other coloured hats than red, to match my friends football team colours. I have also done a snowman, which is the same pattern totally in white, knit a scarf in the colour of your choice and the hat is the Top hat from the groom in the Jean Greenhow Little Gifts Dolls pattern made slightly smaller.
