This is a beginner pattern for one scarf in Broken Rib Stitch with an I-cord edge.

This scarf was created to coordinate with a vintage 1932 beret pattern called KNITTED BERET and which was published in The Chronicle.

Materials:
1 skein of worsted-weight or Aran-weight yarn.

7 (4.5 MM) knitting needles.

Darning needle or crochet hook to weave in tails.
