This is a knitting pattern for sweet baby sloth. It also has instructions on how to add magnets to the hands so that his hands can stick to each other or your fridge, or anything metal!

Using sport/dk weight yarn, the final sloth measures approximately 12 inches tall and is delightfully floppy.

The head and body are knitted in round from the bottom up, with all the other parts knitted either flat or in the round and sewn on.

I used a sport weight yarn with size 3 needles, but you could use any weight yarn as long as you used size-appropriate needles. Just know that bigger yarn=bigger finished animal.

Materials Needed:
Circular needles or DPNs
Yarn needle
Poly stuffing
Optional magnets (2)
Dried beans (I like to put one or two tablespoons in the butt to add some nice weight to the body)
optional safety eyes, if you don’t feel like embroidering them (I never feel like it)
