This week on DrFrankKnits’ Free Pattern Fridays, I present a knitted Ferrari-style model of a sports/race car! If you don’t have a boatload of money to spend on the real deal, this is a great alternative! Children will love playing with this stuffed toy, but it would also make a great gift for any car or racing enthusiast. When knitted with worsted weight yarn and US size 6 needles, it measures about 6 inches long, but the gauge is not important. Feel free to adjust yarn weight and needle size to fit the materials you have available. You can also add any additional decorative elements you desire, such as racing stripes, numbers or decals to make your own unique model.
