Knitted Step-Ins
by Table Talk
This pattern is
available for free.
Woollen underwear is getting more attractive every year and the dainty garments we can now knit for ourselves are certainly an inducement to wear more wool. This novel design for hand knitted step-ins should appeal to the girl who prefers a single undergarment. The step-ins are exceptionally well shaped, but are simple and straight forward to knit and are very warm to wear. They have the advantage of doing away with the bulkiness round waist and hips that woollen vests and bloomers produce.
Material required—
4 ozs. 3 ply Lincoln Mills super wool; 1 pr. No. 7 bone needles; 1 crochet hook, No. 0; 1 reel crochet silk; 2½ yds. ribbon 1 in. wide.
