This pattern can work with any size needle in relation to the thickness of the yarn. It is relatively easy taking about 1-3 hours to make depending on your skillset. Pattern is very forgiving for beginners since the body parts are separate and then mattress-stitched together. (Wonderful for those knitting perfectionist!)

The pattern is written for a small 4x3 lion; but with different needles and heavier yarn it can be larger!
