Knitting Granny Gonk Gnome
by Mandi Wilson
I grew up wearing hand knits lovingly made by my mum. Knitting Granny Gonk Gnome is a tribute to her.
She’s not too difficult to knit. You’d only need basic stitch knowledge i.e. knit, purl, stocking stitch, garter, cast off etc. I’ve used a Bubble Stitch for her skirt. Instructions are included within the pattern.
She is knitted flat using 3mm needles and DK yarn. I’ve given her a lovely pair of glasses and have included a link within the pattern to the ones I used.
Her needles are made from BBQ skewers cut to required length and a couple of beads.
