I’m a huge fan of The Cardigan. I own endless variations of this
versatile layer and rarely leave the house without one.

I know that knitting in 4-ply yarn is a labour of love that some of you may run from, but I couldn’t resist adding this pattern to the book for those of you who, like me, enjoy the commitment of a project that might take a bit longer to make, but ends up being just that little bit more satisfying.

Students often ask me for a ‘simple’ cardigan pattern for beginners or intermediate knitters. I think that this pattern is the answer, and it comes with options to really make it something special and individual.
