Knitty Gritty: Lacy Wrap
by Aneeta Patel
Using a double-knit yarn, you can choose something utterly luxurious like silk yarn to add glamour to this shawl. It can be worn in a variety of ways (see the photographs for inspiration), and it is the perfect way to ward off chills on a spring evening.
This pattern is also a terrific challenge to the ambitious beginner knitter. You will notice that the needle size I am using is bigger than the size recommended for double-knit yarn; this is because I want to give your shawl an open lacy weave which will make it a beautiful flowing piece of fabric.
