• Detailed instructions on adding the face and spots.

This pattern is designed for advanced beginning knitters, and requires the following skills:

Casting on and off
Knitting in the round
Knit stitch
Purl stitch
Knitting into the front and back of a stitch (kfb)
Knitting 2 stitches together (k2tog)

The following supplies are needed:

9” Circular US size 8 (5mm) knitting needles
US size 8 (5mm) straight needles
stitch markers
Worsted weight, 100% wool yarn in red
Worsted weight yarn in black
Darning needle
Wool roving – white and black
felting needle
felting block/foam
