This gorgeous raglan cardigan is an easy pattern to follow, suitable for knitters of any experience level. The easy all over stockinette stich is embellished by cables, one that runs along the zipper band, the other down each sleeve. These intricate looking cables add an element of sophistication while being extremely easy to knit. Waist shaping and a split hem are utilized to ensure a flattering design while providing ease around the hips. The cardigan is knit in the flat from the top down; sleeves are knit in the round top down.

The garment was knit with James C. Brett DK with Merino. This yarn glides beautifully off the needles, provides excellent stitch definition, and is soft on the skin. Model in photo (my mom) has a 44 bust, is wearing garment size 48, knit using colour DM39 (Dark Purple).
