Probably the most wearable of any of the knitting projects, the cowl is also the easiest pattern in the eBook to knit. Throw it on over a shirt, a jacket or even your pajamas and out the door your go, even if you’re just making a quick trip to the drive thru. It’ll keep you warm, and stylish while giving you a little hug around your neck. Knit completely in the round, these stitches stack upon one another to form words that make it easy to knit.
A poem is not a knitting of words, rather the spontaneous feeling of the overwhelmed mind. – Ranju Sharma

Cowl can be knit using 2-7 colors – Feel free to mix and match your word stripes to suit your color preferences. And check out the test knitter’s photos of all the Knitwords eBook projects on Ravelry for color inspiration. You can make the cowl circumference shorter or longer by adding or subtracting a multiple of 28.
