Fingerless Mitts are fun and fast to knit. These don’t use much yarn and give a great opportunity to maybe expand some knitting skills-learning twisted rib, Old Norwegian Cast-on and making thumb gussets.

These mitts are worked in twisted rib--so are super elastic and will fit a good range of sizes. Perfect for gifts or to donate, where you may not have the exact hand size or even know who will be receiving them.

The pattern calls for sock yarn--only about 200 yds (with about 30 yards of contact color) So one skein can produce a couple of pairs, easily.

Left and right hand patterns are given, so you are not left trying to figure out how to work in reverse.

These have been tested--but if you run across a problem, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
