Il maglione - premesse
Chi lavora a maglia e ha visto “Knives Out - Cena con delitto” avrà sicuramente notato il maglione che Chris Evans indossa nella pellicola. Il maglione, con tre tipi diversi di trecce, è realizzato dal basso verso l’alto: il davanti, il dietro e le maniche sono realizzati separatamente per poi essere uniti successivamente. Le taglie disponibili sono S (M) L. É un lavoro che richiede molto tempo e pazienza, ma penso comunque che sia adatto a chi è alle prime armi col lavoro a maglia; lo schema è spiegato nel dettaglio, quindi adatto anche a chi è poco familiare con le tecniche usate. Per facilitare la comprensione del modello ho evidenziato in grassetto delle parole chiave che rimandano a dei video spiegazione delle tecniche citate. Detto questo, buon sferruzzamento!

Il filato e la sua tensione
Per questo progetto ho usato il filato Drops Alaska nel colore 02, appartenente alla categoria C-medium e composto al 100% da lana. Si lavora con i ferri da 5 mm di diametro e la tensione è di 17 maglie x 22 ferri in un quadrato 10x10 cm. In tutto ho usato circa 900 (1150) 1450 g di filato, ovvero 18 (23) 29 gomitoli da 50 g ciascuno.

Gli strumenti necessari
Dei ferri circolari da 4,5 mm di diametro, lunghi almeno 80 cm;
Dei ferri circolari da 4,5 mm di diametro, lunghi 40 cm;
Un ferro ausiliario da 4,5 mm di diametro o inferiore: andrà bene anche un ferro a doppia punta o un ferro circolare;
Un metro da sarta;
10 (12) 14 segnamaglie;
Un ago da lana;
Delle forbici;
Del filato qualsiasi.

IMPORTANTE
Ho lavorato a maglia per me solamente la taglia S, mentre per le taglie restanti ho fatto qualche calcolo e seguito le proporzioni. Se noti che qualcosa non va con il modello fammelo sapere e lo modificherò.

About the sweater
Those who knit and have seen “Knives Out” will surely have noticed the sweater that Chris Evans wears in the movie. The sweater is made with three different types of braids from bottom to top: the front, back and sleeves are made separately and then joined later. The sizes available are S (M) L. It is a project that requires a lot of time and patience, but I think it is suitable for those who are new to knitting; the pattern is explained in detail, so it is also suitable for those who are not familiar with the techniques that are used. To facilitate the understanding of the pattern I have highlighted in bold some keywords that refer to video explanations of the mentioned techniques. Happy knitting!

The yarn and its gauge
I personally used the Drops Alaska yarn in color 02, which belongs to the C-medium group and made of 100% wool. It is worked with 5 mm needles and the gauge is 17 stitches x 22 rows in a square 10x10 cm. I used approximately 900 (1150) 1450 g of yarn, 18 (23) 29 skeins.

Tools you need
4,5 mm circular needles, at least 80 cm long;
4,5 mm circular needles, 40 cm long;
A 4,5 mm cable needle, or smaller; a double pointed needle or a circular needle will be just fine;
A tape measure;
10 (12) 14 stitch markers;
A tapestry needle;
Scissors;
Some waste yarn.

IMPORTANT
I personally knitted for myself a size S, while for the other sizes I just did some math and followed the proportions. If you notice that something is wrong with the pattern let me know and I’ll adjust it.
