This is another in my “On a Limb” series of leg warmers for children. This pair uses a twist stitch and a few well placed cables that form a wee little owl looking out of his home in a tree trunk.

You will need a cable needle for the owls, but the other cables are really twisted stitches.

Pattern includes directions to forming both the owl as well as the twists.
